Crapless bubble craps
A bubble craps machine running crapless rules: no craps on the come-out, one screen, no dealer.
The simulator needs JavaScript. The rules, payouts and house edge are below.

How the crapless come-out works
On the come-out roll, only seven wins right away. Every other total, including two, three, eleven and twelve, becomes the point.
- Roll seven: the pass line wins.
- Roll eleven: regular craps pays you now. Crapless makes eleven the point, and you need another eleven before a seven.
- Roll two, three or twelve: regular craps takes your bet. Crapless makes it the point.
Full rules are on the crapless craps page.
What the bubble machine changes
- Dice bounce inside a clear dome, shaken by air.
- You bet on a touch screen at your own seat.
- No dealer and no other shooter. The machine rolls when the timer ends.
The bets and payouts follow the same crapless rules. See bubble craps for how the machine works.
Use the simulator above to watch how often a point of two or twelve actually gets made before a seven.
House edge: crapless vs. regular
- Regular pass line: 1.41%
- Crapless pass line: 5.38%
- Crapless pass line plus odds (three-four-five times): 1.26%
Winning nothing extra on the come-out eleven and having to make it as a point costs more than the new points on two, three and twelve give back. That is why the crapless pass line costs more than the regular one.
Cheapest bets on a crapless bubble table
| Bet | Pays | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| Pass line (crapless) | 1 to 1 | 5.38% |
| Odds on 2 or 12 | 6 to 1 | 0.00% |
| Odds on 3 or 11 | 3 to 1 | 0.00% |
| Odds on 4 or 10 | 2 to 1 | 0.00% |
| Odds on 5 or 9 | 3 to 2 | 0.00% |
| Odds on 6 or 8 | 6 to 5 | 0.00% |
House edge per bet decided (pushes not counted), exact math from the dice.
- Odds bet behind the pass line – it has no house edge, so it lowers the cost of the total amount you have in play.
- Place six or eight: 1.52%
- Place five or nine: 4.00%
Skip place bets on two, three, eleven and twelve and the one-roll bets – they cost much more. Compare all of them on craps bets.
No crapless bubble craps strategy removes the house edge. Over many rolls, losses tend to move toward that edge as a share of the total bet.
