House edge per bet decided (pushes not counted), exact math from the dice.

  • Dome: two real dice sit under a clear glass dome.
  • Air jets: a burst of air bounces the dice, and a camera reads the result.
  • Screens: several players sit around the machine and place bets on their own touch screens.
  • Layout: each screen shows the same craps table you see above.

The simulator on this page uses the bubble look, so you can practice with free chips.

  4. The dice bounce again until the point (you win) or a seven (you lose).

All bets work like table craps – see the craps rules and craps bets.

Check the machine pay table

Before your first bet, open the pay table on the screen and look for an Odds button.

Some machines offer smaller odds bets or no odds bet at all. Without odds, the cheapest Pass Line choice costs more over time.

Two dice make 36 equally likely combinations. Seven has the most: six of them.

With fair dice, the totals follow the chart above over many rolls: seven has 6 ways out of thirty-six, and two has 1. In many regulated markets, gaming machines must pass independent testing; check your local regulator.

The house still wins over time because of the payouts, not because of the dice. Learn more in dice probability.

Bubble craps strategy

  • Pass Line – house edge 1.41%.
  • Pass Line plus three-four-five times odds – 0.37% on the total amount bet (only if the machine offers odds).
  • Place six or eight – 1.52%.
  • Any seven – 16.67%, one of the most expensive bets.

Stick to Pass Line, odds and Place six or eight, and skip the one-roll bets in the middle of the screen.

No strategy removes the house edge. More in craps strategy and prop bets.

Questions

Is bubble craps rigged?

Bubble craps uses two real dice bounced by air under a glass dome. In many regulated markets, gaming machines must pass independent testing, so check your local regulator; the house edge comes from the payouts, the same as at a table.

Is bubble craps random?

With fair dice, the totals follow dice math over many rolls: seven has 6 ways out of thirty-six, two has 1. Past rolls do not change the next roll.

Does bubble craps have odds bets?

Some machines offer odds, some limit them, and some have none. Check the pay table on the screen before you play.

What is the best bet in bubble craps?

Pass Line has a house edge of 1.41%, and adding three-four-five times odds lowers it to 0.37% on the total amount bet. No bet beats the house over time.

Can I try bubble craps online for free?
