How to play baccarat for free here

  1. Pick a chip size.
  2. Tap Player, Banker, Tie or a pair bet.
  3. Press Deal – the cards come from a shoe of 8 decks and follow the fixed drawing rules.
  4. Read the result, then watch the Bead plate and Big road fill in.

You never decide whether to draw a third card – the rules do that, so your only choice is the bet.

Example hand: Banker draws and wins

Player
4♥2♣
4 + 2 = 6 → 6
Banker
Q♣3♦4♠
0 + 3 + 4 = 7 → 7
Banker wins 6 : 7.

Cards two to nine count face value, tens and face cards count zero, and an ace counts one; only the last digit of the total counts. All drawing rules: baccarat rules.

Player has four plus two, which makes six, and stands. Banker has three, draws the four of spades and wins with seven.

8 decks, exact count of every possible deal. Ties push Banker and Player bets.

  • Player – pays even money; house edge 1.24%.
  • Banker – pays 0.95 to 1 after the 5% commission; house edge 1.06%.
  • Tie – pays 8 to 1; house edge 14.36%. Player and Banker bets push on a tie.
  • Player pair / Banker pair – pays 11 to 1 if that side's first two cards are a pair; house edge 10.36%. More in side bets and baccarat odds.

Why Banker pays a commission

Banker acts last, so it wins slightly more often: 45.86% of hands, against 44.62% for Player and 9.52% ties.

The 5% commission takes that extra back, so on average Banker still loses $1.06 for every hundred dollars bet. In EZ Baccarat mode there is no commission, but a Banker win with a three-card seven is a push (edge 1.02%).

Banker has the lowest house edge on the table, but no bet removes the edge.

Big road

48 real hands from our simulator. B = Banker, P = Player, T = Tie. In the big road a new column starts each time the winner changes.
  • Bead plate – one circle per hand, in order: Player, Banker or Tie.
  • Big road – the same results in streak columns; a new column starts when the winner changes. See scoreboards.
  • Hands and wins – how many hands Player, Banker and Tie won.
  • Total bet and net result – over many hands, your loss tends to move toward the house edge as a share of the total bet.
  • Past results – the roads show history only and do not predict the next hand (gambler's fallacy).

Questions

Is this baccarat simulator free?

Yes. You play with virtual chips only, so there is no real money to win or lose.

Which baccarat bet has the lowest house edge?

Banker, at 1.06%. Player has 1.24% and Tie has 14.36%, so Tie is by far the most expensive bet.

How many decks does the baccarat simulator use?

The shoe holds 8 decks, the usual setup for Punto Banco tables.

Can practicing baccarat online for free help me win?

No. Practice teaches the rules and shows how the house edge works, but no betting system beats it over time.

What is the difference between regular and EZ Baccarat?

Regular baccarat takes a 5% commission on Banker wins. EZ Baccarat has no commission, but a Banker win with a three-card seven is a push, and it adds its own side bets with high house edges.
