House edge per bet decided (pushes not counted), exact math from the dice.
Proposition (prop) bets sit in the center box. Most are one-roll bets: the very next roll decides them.
Every prop bet has a higher house edge than the pass line (1.41%). See all bets side by side on craps bets.
Any seven and Any craps
Any seven wins only on a seven – 6 ways out of thirty-six. It pays four to one, and the house edge is 16.67%, the highest on the table.
Any craps wins on two, three or twelve – four ways out of thirty-six. It pays seven to one, with a house edge of 11.11%.
Yo (eleven) and Ace-deuce (three)
Yo is the dealer's name for eleven, said that way so it is not confused with "seven." It wins on a five and a six – 2 ways – and pays fifteen to one.
Ace-deuce wins on a three (a one and a two) – 2 ways – with the same payout. Both have a house edge of 11.11%.
Aces, Twelve and the Horn bet
- Aces (two): only double ones win, 1 way. Pays thirty to one. Edge 13.89%.
- Twelve: only double sixes win, 1 way. Same payout and edge as Aces.
- Horn: four units, one each on two, three, eleven and twelve. Example: a twelve rolls – that unit wins thirty, the other three lose, so you are up twenty-seven units. Any other number loses all four. Edge 12.50%.
C&E and the World bet
- C&E (craps and eleven): one unit on Any craps, one on Yo. A two, three or twelve – up six units. An eleven – up fourteen units. Anything else loses both. Edge 11.11%.
- World (also called Whirl): a Horn bet plus one unit on Any seven. A seven gives the bet back with no profit; a two, three, eleven or twelve wins like the Horn, minus the Any seven unit. The house edge stays high.
Before placing any center bet, compare its edge with 1.41% on the pass line – try both in the craps simulator.
All Tall Small (ATS)
ATS bets last many rolls and lose the moment a seven shows. All Small needs two, three, four, five and six to roll before a seven; All Tall needs eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve. Each pays thirty-four to one, with an edge of 7.76%.
Make 'Em All needs all ten numbers before a seven, pays one hundred seventy-five to one, and has an edge of 7.46%. More on the math: dice probability.
